What is a Barn Find?
A barn find is a classic car or motorcycle that has been discovered, often in derelict condition. The term comes from their tendency to be found in places such as barns, sheds, carports and outbuildings where they have been stored for many years.

10 413 kilometers on the clock.

Sanglas was a Spanish motorcycle manufacturer which was founded in Barcelona (Poble Nou) in 1942 and ceased production in 1981.

The history of the brand dates back to 1942, three years after the Spanish Civil War, but the first documents on the formal sale of motorcycles dating from 1947. It was founded by two young students of engineering of Barcelone, brothers Javier and Martin Sanglas with financial back up by their father, an textile entrepreneur. Sanglas models were a hybrid of English and German models. The chassis was based on the concept of BMW and the engine, type monoblock, 4-stroke single cylinder, OHV type, was inspired by DKW brand.

This Sanglas 500 is unrestored and original. Unfortunately No papers and missing its side covers will require police clearance.

Its a perfect platform for a Cafe Racer or it can be restored to original. Not many 4 stroke 500 Singles around with an electric starter.
